The University of Arizona’s Yuma Center of Excellence for Desert Agriculture (YCEDA), Cooperative Extension, and the Yuma Agricultural Center, in partnership with Western Growers, proudly present The Desert Difference: FarmTech Connect, a must-attend event for anyone interested in shaping the future of agriculture in arid regions.

This two-day event offers a hands-on look at the latest agricultural technologies and how they’re being integrated into real-world farming systems to boost productivity and sustainability. Attendees will see live demonstrations of robotic farm implements, environmental sensors, farm decision support software, drones, mapping and imaging tools, advanced irrigation equipment, and variable rate application technology—tools designed specifically for the challenges of desert farming.

In addition to field demonstrations, the event creates space for meaningful connections between AgTech companies, growers, researchers, and industry leaders. Static display booths located in the Field Demo area will also provide vendors and sponsors the space to network and engage with members of the local ag industry.
