Jesus Tovar

Member President of T & P Farms INC

Jesus Tovar is President of T & P Farms INC, which is located in Somerton, Arizona. He specializes in the production of conventional and organic leafy green vegetables during the winter months. During the spring and summer months, he grows wheat and Sudan grass seed. Jesus attended Arizona Western College from 1973 -1975 then transferred to Cal Poly where he earned a Bachelor’s of Science degree in Mechanized Agriculture. While at Cal-Poly, he took some Pest Control Advisor (PCA) courses and returned to Yuma to work as a PCA for Barkley Company before starting T & P Farms INC in 1988. In addition to serving on the YCEDA advisory council, Jesus currently serves as a board member on the Yuma County Water Users Association.
