Mark Smith

Member President Smith Farms Company of Yuma, Inc.

Mark Smith is President of Smith Farms Company of Yuma Inc., a family farming operation specializing in the production of conventional and organic winter vegetables. Mark received a Bachelor’s of Science in Agronomy and Plant Genetics and Agricultural Business from the University of Arizona. In addition to serving on the YCEDA Advisory Council, Mark has been a member of the Board of Directors for The Foothills Bank since 1998 and participates in multiple capacities associated with water agencies in the Yuma area. He has served as President of the Yuma Irrigation District’s Board of Directors since 1994 and has been a director since 1983. Mark is also a board member for the Imperial Dam Advisory Board, the Gila Gravity Administrative Board and has been appointed to the Governor’s Water Augmentation Council.
