Summary
Diamondback moth (DBM) is one of the most damaging pests of Brassica crops. Diamondback moth larvae feed directly on leaves and heads, causing holes, skeletonized foliage, and unmarketable heads. Heavy and repeated use of insecticides with the same modes of action has led to DBM developing insecticide resistance, reducing the efficacy of some insecticide groups and increasing the risk of costly control failures.
