Diamondback moth (DBM) is one of the most damaging insect pests affecting brassica vegetable production and remains a significant challenge for growers in Arizona and throughout the desert Southwest. Recent outbreaks associated with insecticide resistance have increased management costs and highlighted the need for proactive pest management strategies focused on prevention, education, and improved understanding of pest ecology.
